iTunes Error 5002 Repair Tutorial
iTunes 5002 error is a big problem that’s caused by your PC being unable to process the important options & settings that allow it to connect to the iTunes store. The iTunes 5002 error will be caused by these possible problems:

How To Fix iTunes Error 5002
Step 1 – Re-Install iTunes
The first step is to re-install the iTunes software on your PC, which should enable your PC to run much smoother & more reliably. You can use the steps outlined here to achieve this:
- Click “Start“
- Click “Control Panel“
- Click “Add / Remove Programs“
- Locate “iTunes“
- Click “Remove“
- Download a new version of iTunes From Apple.com
- Install the new version of iTunes onto your PC
Step 2 – Make Sure Your Internet Is Working Correctly
It’s likely the case that the Internet connection you have is not working correctly, preventing iTunes from being able to connect to the downloads server. This will not only ensure that your PC is able to run much smoother, but also makes sure that your PC is able to repair the various problems that it may have:
Make Sure The Internet Is Actually Working
- Click onto Google.com
- Search for a random key phrase (one you haven’t looked up before)
- Click on a random link that appears
- If the page loads, you have Internet connection
Check The Speed Of Your Internet
- Click onto Speedtest.net
- Click onto the big “play” button to start the test
- If the speed is below 500kb/s, you may have problems
Temporarily Disable Your Firewall
- Right-click onto your firewall’s icon
- Select “Disable”
- Try iTunes again

The registry is also a major cause of problems for iTunes. This is basically a part of Windows which stores a large number of important options for your PC, from the likes of your desktop wallpaper to your latest emails.
